General Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Hungry Tables' Terms and Conditions for use. This legal notice applies to the contents of the website under the domain name https://www.hungrytables.co.uk ("Website") and Hungry Tables application on both Android and iOS platforms, available on the respective app stores.

Please read this agreement carefully. These represent the Terms and Conditions for using this service. If you do not agree to these, you may not use this Website or application.

You are permitted to use our Website and application solely on the basis of these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update and/or revise these Terms and Conditions. Please check periodically for changes.

Hungry Tables acts solely as a facilitator for discounted table bookings between diners and participating restaurants. The dining contract is directly between the diner and the participating restaurant. Hungry Tables is not a party to the dining transaction itself.

1. Use of the Website and Application
1.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, you are authorised to view and download content from our Website and application for your personal use only. Hungry Tables may change, suspend, or discontinue the Website and application at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. Hungry Tables may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of this Website and application without notice or liability.
1.2 You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any equipment or ancillary services needed to connect to, access or otherwise use the Website and application, including, without limitation, modems, hardware, software, and telephone services.
1.3 The Website and application may contain additional terms (for example, conduct guidelines) that further govern the use of specific features or offers. If any Terms and Conditions contained in this agreement conflict with any Terms and Conditions contained within a Hungry Tables feature or offer, the Terms and Conditions in this agreement shall prevail.
1.4 Without affecting any of your statutory rights, Hungry Tables is not liable under any circumstances (including negligence) for any losses, damages, liability, claims, or expenses arising from the use of the Website, the application, or services booked using the Website and application.

1A. Restaurant Content Usage

Hungry Tables may display participating restaurants' names, menus, logos, images, and other related content for marketing and promotional purposes, based on the consent provided by the restaurant during onboarding through the google form.

Restaurants retain ownership of their respective branding and content. Hungry Tables' use of such material is solely for the purpose of promoting reservations and related services through the Hungry Tables platform.

2. Registration and Security
2.1 To register with Hungry Tables and purchase goods through our Website or application, you must be over eighteen years of age. You must ensure that the details provided by you during registration or at any time are correct and complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information you provided when registering by updating your personal details.
2.2 Hungry Tables reserves the right to decline a new customer registration or suspend a customer’s account at any time at our sole discretion.
2.3 Hungry Tables reserves the right to terminate your access to all or part of the services with or without notice.
2.4 Hungry Tables reserves the right to discontinue the Website, the application, or services, or any part thereof, at any time with or without notice.
2.5 Hungry Tables may change the Website, application, or delete features at any time and for any reason.

3. Member Conduct
3.1 You may not use the Website or application for any of the following purposes:

• Disseminating unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or objectionable material.
• Transmitting material that encourages conduct constituting a criminal offence or results in civil liability.
• Gaining unauthorised access to other computer systems.
• Interfering with another person’s use of the Website or application.
• Engaging in technically harmful behaviour, including computer viruses, trojan horses, worms, and other malicious software.

3.2 Hungry Tables reserves the right to refuse to post material on our Website or application, or to remove material already posted.

3.3 The person who made the booking is responsible for cancelling in the event of any change in plans. Failure to do so may impact future reservations. Anyone with three or more no-shows may be removed from the Hungry Table application without prior notice. Reinstatement will be at Hungry Table’s sole discretion.

4. Privacy
4.1 Registration data and other information about you are subject to our Privacy Policy. Hungry Tables’ Privacy Policy is updated regularly and includes important information about our use of cookies. You can read Hungry Tables' Privacy Policy on https://www.hungrytables.co.uk

5. Booking Terms and Conditions
5.1 Check-in and Billing

• When you arrive, let the restaurant staff know you’ve booked with Hungry Tables and show them your booking confirmation (digital or printed).
• Double-check your bill before paying to make sure the offer has been applied.

5.2 Hungry Tables Offer

• Enjoy variable discounts as noted in your booking confirmation. The discount applies to the food bill for the number of diners specified in your booking confirmation.
• Any special conditions will be detailed in your booking confirmation.
• Beverages are charged at full price and are not included in the Hungry Tables offer.
• Any applicable service charges will be calculated on the full bill and are not subject to the offer.
• The Hungry Tables offer cannot be combined with any other offers, in-house specials, drink specials, discounts, or promotions.
• The offer is only available for the specified number of diners (including adults and children above 10 years of age) booked through the Hungry Tables application.

5.3 Menu Prices and Discounts

• Menu prices of partner restaurants are subject to change without prior notice.
• All discounts and promotions are applicable only to dine-in menu prices at the time of your reservation, unless stated otherwise.
• Hungry Tables is not responsible for any discrepancies due to changes in menu prices by partner restaurants or any third-party providers

5.4 Booking and Arrival

• The Hungry Tables offer will not be honoured, and your booking fee will be forfeited if more diners than those stated on your confirmation attend the reservation.
• All diners must arrive within 30 minutes of the booked time. The restaurant is not obliged to honour the discount or reservation if you arrive more than 30 minutes after the time specified on your booking confirmation.
• Bookings are for dine-in only. The restaurant may at its discretion allow you to take leftovers home.
• The restaurant decides where Hungry Tables diners are seated.

5.5 Responsibility for Quality and Services

• Food and Drink Quality: Diners are responsible for confirming the quality of food and drinks they order. If there are any concerns regarding quality, diners should notify the restaurant directly.
• Allergies and Special Requirements: Diners are responsible for informing the restaurant of any allergies or special dietary requirements before placing an order. Hungry Tables is not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues resulting from food or drinks consumed. Restaurants should make all reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, but it is the diner’s responsibility to ensure their requirements are understood and met.
• Menu and Ingredients: Restaurants should provide accurate information regarding their menu items and ingredients. However, diners should verify this information with the restaurant, especially if they have any specific dietary restrictions or concerns. Hungry Tables is not responsible for the accuracy of disclaimers, menus, or photos displayed on the platform.

5.6 Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

Booking fees are specified at the time of booking on the Hungry Tables application or website. They are displayed clearly before you complete your booking and form part of the booking confirmation. No changes are possible to the bookings.

• If you cancel a booking at least one clear day before your scheduled day of booking, you'll receive one credit. You can use this credit within one month of cancellation to book a table at any participating restaurant. 1 timely cancellation = 1 diner booking within 1 month from cancellation at any participating restaurant - simple!
• Cancellations made less than a day before the booking won't receive any credit. Please note, we don't offer refunds in any case. 
• No partial cancellations are allowed.
• Bookings cannot be transferred to another date, venue, or time.
• No refunds, except when the restaurant cannot accommodate your reservation for any reason other than arriving more than 30 minutes after the time specified on your booking confirmation.
• Hungry Tables reserves the absolute right to cancel and refund any confirmed booking resulting from an error or incorrect information on the Website or application, such as availability errors.
• Credits are non-transferable and must be used within 30 days. Credits are issued as a goodwill gesture and do not have a cash value.

By confirming a booking through Hungry Tables, you acknowledge and agree that we will begin providing services (securing your reservation) immediately upon confirmation. Accordingly, you expressly waive your statutory right to a 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. This means you are not entitled to cancel your booking and claim a refund once it has been confirmed, except as otherwise provided in these Terms and Conditions.

5.7 Liability
Hungry Tables cannot be responsible if a participating restaurant refuses to honour a valid discount or regarding the quality and services of participating restaurants. In such cases, the booking fee will be refunded.

5.8 Dine-In Only

• All Hungry Tables offers and discounts are valid only for dine-in experiences at the participating restaurant.
• The restaurant reserves the right to refuse discounts on orders intended for takeaway.

6. Restaurant Responsibilities: 

Restaurants are responsible for keeping their menu, pricing, and availability accurate and updated. They must comply with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Hungry Tables is not liable for any discrepancies or service-related issues.

Restaurants should provide accurate information regarding their menu items and ingredients. However, diners should verify this information with the restaurant, especially if they have specific dietary restrictions or concerns. Hungry Tables is not responsible for the accuracy of disclaimers, menus, or photos displayed on the platform

7. Refunds & Disputes

If a user has a dispute regarding a restaurant experience, they should contact the restaurant directly. Hungry Tables does not process refunds for restaurant services but may facilitate communication. Any refunds or compensation are subject to the restaurant’s policies.

8. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Hungry Tables may integrate third-party services, including payment gateways, booking systems, web hosting providers, and email communication platforms. While we select our partners carefully, Hungry Tables is not responsible for any errors, service failures, or data breaches arising from the use of these third-party services. Users acknowledge that their use of such services is at their own risk and are encouraged to review and accept the respective terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third-party providers before engaging with them.

9. Marketing & Communications:

By signing in and making a booking through Hungry Tables, you agree to receive email communications related to your bookings, including confirmations, reminders, and cancellation notices, as well as marketing communications.

Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying with "unsubscribe" to hello@hungrytables.co.uk.

Please note that to maintain our service, opting out of essential email communications may result in the deactivation of your account, and you will no longer be able to use the Hungry Tables app for bookings.

Personal data may also be used to personalise offers in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Communication via WhatsApp

• By providing your phone number and consenting to the terms and conditions at the time of registration, you agree to receive communications from Hungry Tables via WhatsApp for purposes including reservation confirmations, customer service, and feedback requests.
• It's a necessary feature of the application.  WhatsApp messages may include links or promotional content relevant to your dining experience. However, you may opt out at any time.
• Your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Termination of Accounts:

Hungry Tables reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user’s account if they violate these Terms and Conditions, engage in abusive behavior, or act fraudulently. Users will be notified where possible.

12. Force Majeure:

Hungry Tables shall not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or technical failures.

13. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance:

Hungry Tables is committed to protecting user data in compliance with GDPR and relevant data protection laws. Users have the right to request data deletion, access their personal data, and modify privacy settings. Details of data processing are outlined in the Privacy Policy.

By using Hungry Tables, users agree to these Terms and Conditions. These terms may be updated periodically, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms

14. Modification of Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the website or interaction with our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
  
  

15. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Hungry Tables is a brand of Dinetech Ltd, a limited company registered in the UK. 

16. Other Important Details

• If the restaurant is licensed, diners must be of legal drinking age in that jurisdiction and may be required to produce photo ID.
• Public holiday surcharges may apply—check with the restaurant.
• Hungry Tables is not responsible for the accuracy or currency of menus, pricing, or photos provided by restaurants.
• This reservation is not exchangeable for cash and is not permitted for resale.
• Hungry Tables can amend the number of diners on bookings as per the terms agreed with participating venues.
• Hungry Tables can change or modify the terms of the discounts at any time.
